Frequently Asked Questions
Memberships are managed through Memberful, a company owned by Patreon. When you select your membership level, you are redirected to the Memberful website for secure payment. All payments go through Stripe. Once you are a member you will create a username and login. Whenever you visit the Adventure Nerds website, and you are logged in, you will magically see new sections of the website and will be able to access members only content. Email communication is sent through Campaign Monitor or Gmail.

If you like what you are reading and hearing, then we would love for you to join us. If you can’t afford the membership, don’t worry, the podcast and newsletter are free for everyone.
We will miss you! Log into your account HERE to upgrade, cancel or change your membership. You will receive an email notification a couple of weeks before your membership renews. If you have any difficulty, email us and we will get it sorted.

The technical answer? This site is equipped with https protocol that works seamlessly with Memberful’s encrypted site. All payments go through, Stripe, one of the largest payment processing platforms on the internet. If you shop online, you’ve used Stripe before without knowing it. Eventually it ends up in our bank account.
About 10% of your membership goes towards fees to Memberful and Stripe. The rest is used to pay for servers, websites, email platforms, taxes, expenses and the thousands of other little things that keep the website humming and the organization running. Hopefully there is a little left over for us to reinvest it into the organization and continue building something great for everyone.
